Jeff is a former U.S. Navy officer who served his country as a Navy SEAL and retired after 22 years of service. Jeff has a deep-seated faith and love of country, and considers himself privileged to have worked with some of the greatest talents in government and commercial organizations around the world.
As a SEAL, Jeff was selected early in his career into Naval Special Warfare Development Group, a Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) Tier 1 National Mission Force Command that selects the top five percent of operators in the Navy SEAL community, remaining there for the last half of his career as a SEAL. In his tenure at JSOC, Jeff held many senior positions such as Special Liaison to the Central Intelligence Agency, Officer In Charge of Operations, Officer In Charge of Training, and Division Officer overseeing hundreds of our nation’s most elite warfighters, complex missions, and advanced military programs. Jeff also served as the leading Chief for the Navy SEAL Sniper training school and as Officer In Charge of the Navy SEAL K9 program, where he was pivotal in creation of the Navy’s largest and our countries most advanced working-dog program.
As a military officer, he developed and led multiple programs in the SEAL community, some of which are still considered among the most advanced Special Forces programs in the military today. Jeff is decorated for his leadership in combat, operations, and contributions in research and development in modernizing America’s most advanced mobility programs, maritime security, military shooting curriculum, personal protective products, military working dogs, and operational Tactics, Techniques, Procedures, and Equipment.
A decorated combat veteran, Jeff is the recipient of two Bronze Stars (both with combat valor), the Joint Service Commendation Medal (with combat valor), the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and numerous other high-level service awards.
As a leader in both government and commercial organizations, he has spent over two decades directing fast-paced operations, driving innovation, leading change, and advising high-level leaders on strategy and operations.
Following his military career, Jeff continues to work with large organizations as an executive and advisor in the government and commercial business sector. With a proven track record in leadership and operations, coupled with a keen understanding of business strategy modeling, analytics, and decision science, he brings a distinct edge in finding new opportunity to those he serves. Jeff’s concepts and vision have been published on multiple occasions in Inside Business Magazine, and his insight on leadership and development drives regular contributions to several popular business journals.
Jeff has had more than 20 years of studying and immersing himself in cultures around the globe. He is a sought-after expert in leadership, strategy, innovation, training, and development, and has lectured and taught all over the world.
Jeff holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Duke University, where his studies included immersion in Russia, England, United Arab Emirates, India, and China. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Illinois and holds postgraduate certifications from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Leadership and Management, Georgetown University in Project Management, and Harvard Law School in Business Negotiation.
At home, Jeff is a proud husband and father who believes in America’s enduring spirit and the pursuit of the American Dream. Jeff has made his home in Huntsville, Alabama, with his wife and two children.
